What is MA-IX?
MA-IX is an Internet Exchange Point created and operated since 2005 by Jaguar Network (http://www.jaguar-network.com)/.
It provides a physical ethernet switched infrastructure to ISPs and to Internet related business companies in order to exchange IP traffic.

Why are MA-IX services free?
MA-IX has been created to help local and international Internet actors to increase their connectivity in south of France.

Can I host my router/switch inside MA-IX racks/rooms?
Yes, you can. This service is managed directly by Jaguar Network techies.

Where can I connect to MA-IX?
MA-IX connection is possible in the 9 Telecom datacenter of Marseille.

Who are MA-IX members?
Most members are ISP's, ASPs or telecom operators, a full member list is available here.

Who can join MA-IX?
Every entity with a legal status and an Internet related business.

How can I join MA-IX?
First, you need to make sure that you agree and respect our policy requirements, then you may contact us to plan your membership and your connection to our switch.

What are MA-IX usage policy ?

Does MA-IX have IPv6 or multicast services ready?
IPv6 and multicast are not allowed on the network.

Can you help us with BGP4 routing settings?
No. You can find documentation on Cisco/Juniper/Ripe websites.
